LEADERSHIP

NICKEL PLATE EXPRESS LEADERSHIP

Excursions would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our board members, staff and volunteers.

STAFF

EMILY REYNOLDS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Emily brings over a decade of experience as a trusted leader in the nonprofit industry. In her previous roles she was instrumental in growing a volunteer program, implementing a strategic plan, engaging new audiences through social media, and expanding fundraising efforts.

Emily brings a wealth of knowledge to Nickel Plate Express, but most importantly she brings a cheerful and can-do spirit. Her passion is serving others.

As a life-long resident of Hamilton County, Emily is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve her community. Emily resides in Noblesville with her husband and daughter. During her free time, she enjoys cruising the countryside with her husband to find off-the-path, local places, trying out new restaurants, and sitting on the patio with a good book. She is an avid lover of animals and has a St. Bernard and Golden Retriever.

JAKE GARVEY OPERATIONS MANAGER

Jake joined the Nickel Plate Express team in 2018 and worked his way through the Engineer program. Earning his engineer’s license in the summer of 2022, Jake then joined the leadership team as the Operations Manager.

With a strong background in maintenance and repairs of railroad equipment, Jake oversees the safety and mechanical maintenance of all NPX equipment. He strives to ensure the railroad is maintained and preserved for future generations to enjoy.

When not at NPX, Jake enjoys spending time with his dog, Athena, and fishing with his grandpa.
