Bring the Whole Family for a Holiday Ride in Noblesville, IN
Climb aboard the Reindeer Express for a 75-minute holiday train ride on the historic Nickel Plate Express. This family-friendly experience includes seasonal music, a holiday cookie, a letter-to-Santa activity, and a visit from Santa during the ride.
Guests in Standard Class will receive chocolate milk, while guests in Platinum Class, Diamond Class, and the Private Caboose will enjoy hot chocolate. Families can also write a letter to Santa and see it delivered to the North Pole post office as part of the experience.

This round-trip ride departs from Noblesville and travels through northern Hamilton County toward Arcadia. Please note that visibility outside the train is limited on evening rides.
Peak and off-peak ticket pricing will reflect on your ticket purchase. Purchase tickets for a November ride to receive the lowest price.
Looking for the ultimate family ride? Book a private caboose! The holiday caboose will seat 20 people and will depart with our Reindeer Ride. Enjoy festive music, holiday decor, hot chocolate, cookies, and write a letter to Santa. Santa will visit the caboose immediately before departure. Passengers are encouraged to arrive early to see Santa in the caboose.

Infant Note: Standard Infant Tickets are available for ages 2 and under and do not include a seat.
All seating is located upstairs. Passenger cars are not accessible.
Diamond Class Seating
Diamond Class: Private table for 4 or 2
The Meijer car offers social tables that will seat either 4 or 2 passengers per table. This top-of-the-line seating will include priority boarding and hot chocolate served in a souvenir mug for each passenger. Lap children are not allowed in this class of seating. Children ages 2 and under may still ride in this car, but they must have a ticket and be able to safely sit on their own.

Platinum Class Seating Private Tables for 4
Reporter Lounge: Offers social, 4-top table and chair seating. Tables seat up to 4-passengers and are only sold by the table. Platinum class passengers will enjoy hot chocolate and a holiday cookie along with the Reindeer Express programming. Private tables cannot be combined with Standard seating options nor can additional seats be added to your purchase. Lap children are not allowed in this class of seating. Children ages 2 and under may still ride in this car, but they must have a ticket and be able to safely sit on their own.

Standard Class Coach Seating
Our reserved coach offers roomy and spacious economical seating. Seats are in groups of 2 or 4. You must purchase these seats as a group. A group of 4 will have seats that face each other. A group of 2 will face the back of the seats in front of them. Due to the seating on our train we are unable to sell odd number tickets. We recommend groups round up and have extra space for their bags and room to enjoy their experience. All passengers in Standard class seating will enjoy chocolate milk and a holiday cookie along with our Reindeer Express programming.
Children 2 and under may ride free as a lap child in the Standard class seating only.
Private Caboose
Private caboose seating includes bench seating for guests.
Step back in time aboard our historic Monon caboose, offering private seating for up to 20 passengers. (Please note: all guests, including children, count toward the 20-passenger limit.)
Enjoy the cozy atmosphere of your own dedicated space as you travel down the Nickel Plate Road. Sip hot chocolate, indulge in a box of sweet treats, and fill the car with holiday cheer using the onboard Bluetooth speakers—play festive tunes or connect your own playlist.
Kids can write letters to Santa during the ride, and our North Pole postmaster will collect them at the turnaround point. Santa will visit the caboose briefly prior to your ride departure. Please make sure to arrive early.
Please note: the caboose is equipped with a space heater but can still be chilly—dress warmly! There are no restrooms aboard this car.

The excursion boards in Forest Park, Noblesville. (825 Forest Park Drive, Noblesville). Check in and warm up at Hobbs Station at Forest Park Depot.

The ride is an hour and fifteen minutes long and travels through Cicero and Arcadia. Passengers will not disembark at the stop in Arcadia. The route travels one way north and returns the same way south. All rides are a round trip ride departing out of our depot in Noblesville.

All beverages must be pre-purchased at time of check out. No outside food or beverages are permitted on the train without prior approval. We do have substitutions for those with gluten and dairy allergies. Please ask a friendly elf to help!

There is ample & free parking available within Forest Park! Find a spot within Hobbs Depot or just along the main road and park your car.

There are small restrooms on the train in case of emergencies. There are also restrooms located at Hobbs Station at Forest Park Depot.

Each type of ticket offered will be in a separate train car. Passengers cannot purchase different ticket types and be sat together. We recommend the following options for odd number groups:
- For a group of 5 -Purchase a group of 4 + a group of 2. Although this is one more seat than you need the pricing is very comparable and you will be guaranteed seats next to each other.
- For a group of 5 – Purchase a diamond class table for 4 + a diamond class table for 2. They will be directly across the aisle from each other.
Please note that infants are not allowed at any of our table seating include the Diamond class and the Platinum Class.

Passengers are encouraged to arrive 30-minutes prior to their departure time on their ticket. Doors will close 5-minutes before departure time. Late arrivals will not be rebooked or refunded. Please plan ahead and arrive on time.
