Gaylor Coach Car (Ages 18+) – A quiet space for adult readers. Light drinks and snacks will be available for purchase, including beer and wine.
Empire Coach Car (All Ages) – Great for families and readers of all ages. Enjoy light snacks, soda, and water available for purchase.

Please plan to arrive 30-minutes early to check in inside the depot. There is ample parking inside the park. Please plan accordingly. We cannot hold the train for late arrivals.
Our depot address is 825 Forest Park Drive, Noblesville, in 46060. Please do not use Apple Maps for navigation. It will take you to the neighborhood behind us.

WHERE DO I PARK?
Nickel Plate Express is located inside Forest Park in Noblesville. There is ample free parking inside the park. Please plan accordingly to give yourself time to park and check in.
CAN I RESERVE TICKETS IN ADVANCE?
Please purchase your tickets in advance online to avoid disappointment. All tickets are sold online or over the phone in advance. You can call us at (317) 674-3840. We do not recommend walk in ticket purchase.
CAN I BRING FOOD AND BEVERAGES ON THE TRAIN?
No. Outside food and beverages are not allowed on board. Light snacks and beverages will be sold onboard. Please note we are only able to accept credit card payments.
ARE THERE RESTROOM FACILITIES ON THE TRAIN?
Yes, restroom facilities are available on the main train cars.
IS THE TRAIN AIR-CONDITIONED OR HEATED?
Yes, our train cars are air-conditioned and heated for passenger comfort.
WHAT IF I HAVE TROUBLE CLIMBING STAIRS?

Historic rail cars were built before the advent of technology which accommodates people with special needs. Our rail cars were not designed to accommodate wheelchairs safely. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) recognizes the limitations of such historic rail equipment and expressly exempts trains and stations of this type from accessibility requirements. Though we cannot accommodate wheelchair use or access within our historical passenger cars, all persons who can board the train themselves and occupy a standard passenger seat are welcome and encouraged to ride.
DOES THE TRAIN RUN IF IT IS RAINING?
Trains operate rain or shine. The coaches are fully covered and enclosed from the elements with heating or air conditioning as needed.
CAN WE GET UP AND WALK AROUND ON THE TRAIN?
Yes, passengers are allowed to move about the train but must stay within the two coach cars.
CAN WE BRING OUR PET ON THE TRAIN?
Service animals (defined as dogs trained to perform tasks for people with disabilities) are welcome.
ARE ONLINE TICKET PURCHASES SECURE?
