Climb aboard the Nickel Plate Express for a two-hour roundtrip dinner train featuring a four-course Italian meal from Matteo’s served aboard our historic railcars. Guests will enjoy Mediterranean salad, tortellini Matteo’s, chicken marsala, and tiramisu while taking in the ride through Northern Hamilton County.
Guests may choose from two premium seating options. Platinum Class features private 4-top tables. Diamond Class includes 4-top booths and is sold by the seat, so parties of fewer than four may be seated with other guests.

Check-In Details
Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure to allow time for parking, check-in, and boarding. Boarding begins approximately 15 minutes prior to departure. The train departs promptly on time; late arrivals will forfeit their tickets.
Special Requirements
Guests must be comfortable navigating stairs and riding in a historic train environment. Seating may be located upstairs, and railcars are not wheelchair accessible.
Restrictions
No substitutions or menu alterations are permitted. Outside food and beverages are not allowed. The train departs on time and cannot wait for late arrivals. Guests who arrive late will forfeit their tickets and are not eligible for refunds or rebooking.
Extras
An optional wine flight is available for $35 per person. This includes a commemorative wine glass and a wine paired with each course.
Additional Information
Diamond Class seating is sold per individual. Guests purchasing fewer than four Diamond tickets may be seated with other guests. Platinum Class tables are sold by the table.
Restrooms on board are compact and utilitarian. Due to the use of historic equipment, certain ADA accessibility requirements may not apply.
To best accommodate meal service aboard a moving historic train, dinner will be served using quality disposable serviceware rather than traditional china.
