Ho Ho Homicide: A Holiday Murder Mystery Train Ride

A holiday party has gone terribly wrong.

Climb aboard the historic Nickel Plate Express for Ho Ho Homicide, an interactive holiday murder mystery train ride in Noblesville, Indiana. This adults-only, 3-hour experience combines festive fun, a roundtrip train ride, dinner, drinks, and plenty of twists along the way.

Guests will take part in the mystery as either a suspect or an investigator, helping unravel the case as the evening unfolds. Be sure to dress the part as there will be a prize for the best dressed passenger.

Suspects, Investigators, and Costumes

This year, roles will be assigned a little differently.

When booking, guests will provide information that will help shape the experience. Based on those details, some guests will be selected as suspects in the mystery. Suspects will receive their character role and additional details by email prior to the event.

Other guests will attend as investigators and help question suspects, gather clues, and work to solve the crime. Investigators will not receive a character role in advance.

What to Wear

Guests are encouraged to dress in festive holiday attire or in a way that fits the spirit of the event. Suspects may wish to use their emailed character details as inspiration for their outfit. Investigators are welcome to dress festive, cocktail chic, holiday glam, ugly sweater fabulous, or ready to crack the case.

There will be a prize for the best dressed guest, so feel free to have fun with it.

Seating

Diamond Class

Diamond Class features booth seating with 4-top and 2-top tables in one of our historic dining cars. If you purchase fewer than all seats at a table, you may be seated with guests outside your party. Due to the layout of this historic railcar, we do not recommend Diamond Class for larger or taller passengers.

Platinum Class

Platinum Class features social 4-top tables with pull-out chairs. If you purchase fewer than 4 seats at a table, you may be seated with guests outside your party.

Important Information

• This is an adults-only event.

• This is an interactive experience. Guests will take part as either suspects or investigators.

• Suspects will receive their role details by email before the event.

• Investigators will not receive a role in advance.

• Dinner is served buffet-style on board the train.

• Because food service takes place on a moving historic train, no meal modifications or substitutions are available.

• No credit, refund, or partial refund will be given if a guest is unable to eat the menu being served.

• Seating is assigned based on the class and quantity of tickets purchased.

• The train departs promptly at its scheduled departure time. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
