The train travels through Atlanta, Arcadia, Cicero and Noblesville. All trips are round trip. Passengers will stay on the train for the duration of the trip and will not disembark during ‘stops.’

Ample parking is available at Forest Park in Noblesville

The Nickel Plate Express boards in Noblesville at 825 Forest Park Drive, Noblesville (inside Forest Park). Just north of the 3-way stop you will find Hobbs Station at Forest Park Depot. Passengers will check in inside Hobbs Station and move out to the platform to board the train.

Food and beverages for each experience will vary. Please refer to the activity description to find out what is offered. Please note, no outside food and beverages may be brought onto the train.

Restrooms are available on the train in case of emergencies. Restrooms are also available at Forest Park before train departure.

Unfortunately, cars are not handicap accessible at this time since all seating is on the second floor.

Seats in all of our passenger cars are located on the second floor! Passengers will climb a small flight of stairs to reach their seats. Be advised the staircase is narrow.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the train due to potential allergies and comfort of other passengers. However, service dogs are permitted in compliance with ADA. All service dogs should have registration tags.

If you purchase Trip Protection, you may cancel your reservation and receive a refund based on the following schedule:Cancel up to 72 hours before departure:
Receive a 100% refund of your ticket price. No questions asked – just submit the Trip Protection Claim Form at least 3 days in advance. (The Trip Protection fee is not refunded.)Cancel 24–72 hours before departure:
Receive a 50% refund of your ticket price. Submit your claim form between 1 and 3 days prior to departure. (Example: For a $40 ticket, you’ll receive $20 back.)Cancel within 24 hours of departure or no-show:
No refund. Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 24 hours before the ride—or not submitting the form before the cutoff—are not eligible for a refund.
WHAT DOES SEATING LOOK LIKE?
STANDARD SEATING
Seats are in groups of two with rows of two in each car. Standard seating is available in both the Gaylor Electric and Shucks Welding Coach Car.
DIAMOND CLASS SEATING
Is located in the Duke Dining Car. Dining car seating is not as roomy as the reserved coach seating. Taller passengers should opt for reserved coach seating for maximum comfort!
PLATINUM CLASS SEATING
Is available in the Reporter Lounge car and offers tabletop seating for 4 passengers. A great option for those looking for table seating with extra room to sit. The Reporter Lounge typically seats passengers of all ages depending on the excursion.
